(Re-Post) 2013 Biographies Discussion pt. 1
Friday Jan 29, 2016
Friday Jan 29, 2016

In 2013 three biographies on C.S. Lewis were published. There have been quiet a few others before this and undoubtedly there will be more. Why so many biographies on Lewis and how do the ones from 2013 compare to each other? Also what should person look for in biography anyway? These and related questions are explored by William O'Flaherty and his three guests: Dr. Bruce Edwards, Dr. Charlie Starr and Dr. Crystal Hurd. Each are Lewis scholars and have been on All About Jack before.

Wednesday Jan 27, 2016
Wednesday Jan 27, 2016

Colin Duriez is what you might call "an expert to the experts." He is among the top writers/scholars on not only C.S. Lewis, but also J.R.R. Tolkien. Just releasing now is his book C.S. Lewis: A Biography of Friendship. William O'Flaherty spoke with him about this title and why he chose to portray the life of Lewis through his friends.

(Re-Post) C.S. Lewis - A Life (Biography by Dr. Alister McGrath)
Tuesday Jan 26, 2016
Tuesday Jan 26, 2016

No doubt you have heard about the new biography C.S. Lewis - A Life by Dr. Alister McGrath. Dr. McGrath is a priest ordained in the Church of England and Professor of Theology, Ministry and Education at King's College London. Formerly he was Professor of Historical Theology at Oxford University. I was granted one of the few interviews with him last week on March 20th (2013) just hours before he spoke at Wheaton College.

(Re-Post) Lewis & Women #4 – Top Three Women
Sunday Jan 24, 2016
Sunday Jan 24, 2016

This is the forth and final show that explores how C.S. Lewis viewed women. Some think he either hated females, or at least feared them. Even those who know this isn't true have a hard time explaining why. Dr. Crystal Hurd, who has done a series of blog posts on the topic, is William O'Flaherty's special guest to explore this topic. Gina Dalfonzo, the editor of Breakpoint.org joins in as guest co-host. This last episode examines three women in Lewis's later life that he was closest to: Ruth Pitter, Dorothy Sayers and Joy Davidman.

Saturday Jan 23, 2016
Saturday Jan 23, 2016
This is third of four shows I first released in early 2014 on the topic of "Lewis and Women" with Dr. Crystal Hurd.

This is the third of four shows that explores how C.S. This third podcast examines women that Lewis created in his stories. The focus is mostly on Narnia, but Crystal also addresses equality between the sexes.

Thursday Jan 21, 2016
Thursday Jan 21, 2016

This is the first of a four part miniseries exploring how C.S. Lewis viewed women. Did he secretly hate them or at least had a negative view of females in general? Dr. Crystal Hurd, who has done a series of blog posts on the topic, is my special guest. Another female, Gina Dalfonzo, the editor of Breakpoint.org joins in as guest co-host. Today’s podcast presents a general overview by briefly exploring nearly all of the issues related to this subject.

(Re-Post) C.S. Lewis Goes to Heaven
Wednesday Jan 20, 2016
Wednesday Jan 20, 2016
With the publication of my book about The Screwtape Letters approaching soon (it should be out by late March, 2016), I thought I'd remind you of a book by the same publisher about The Great Divorce. That book is called C.S. Lewis Goes to HEAVEN and it came out in 2012. I spoke with the author, Dr. David Clark, when it came out but also shared it again last January. I'm sharing it again for those who may not have caught it then, but this also serves as a reminder to consider this resource to help you further enjoy a fictional book by Lewis that is sometimes overlooked.

(Re-Post) What Lewis NEVER Wrote
Sunday Jan 17, 2016
Sunday Jan 17, 2016
Some of you are aware that I specialize in uncovering whether or not frequently seen quotations attributed to C.S. Lewis are actually from him. Back in 2014 I did a short talk related to this that many of you have likely not heard. So, here it is again:
